  2. hello shrishari,

very interesting topic. as a practitioner of nichiren buddhism, concerns about purifying karma are central to our work to achieve buddhahood in this lifetime. as such, when we think of the obstacles we encounter in life we think about the effects of karma. broadly speaking, what causes (actions which have "karmic consequences") was i creating twenty years ago that account for the obstacles i experience in the present? and, what causes am i creating now that will influence my karma twenty years into the future? (the "20 year" time frame is for illustrative purposes only.) thanks for a great blog post!

    1. Hi Craig M,

Thanks so much for your comment about expanding awareness (aka conscious evolution) through karmic rebound, and the perspective of nichiren buddhism! I also very much appreciate your kind compliment about this blog post... My purpose here is to promote critical thinking skills, and your comment above speaks directly to that process. I very much appreciate your taking the time and effort to provide me and my readers some insight into your perspective...
